While I'm Waiting

While I'm Waiting

John Waller

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Takeing every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

Jane's Note:

Lord, you always waiting patiently for one's confession, repentance.... sometimes it takes more than 20 years, but you never give up, your love never changed

Once, You asked me to wait, in your perfect time, You will pour down the blessing.

Speechless for the path I chose, no one appreciated, no one understood the songs in my heart, no one care about the broken pieces.

But You come to me with open arms, breezing love, despite of pungency, filthiness, obstinateness.

Father, I want to sing this song again to You.

Thank You for the cross.

My 'Bad friends'

Relationship involves two or more parties, there is always a two-way communication, give and take in a ratio of a balance scale, depend on one's appreciation, perception, background and understanding. Everyone has different opinions, just go according to your heart, you will know who you would like to mingle with. As for me, I don't like to mingle with people who gossip one another, that indeed sickening. I rather just say 'Hi' and 'Bye' to this kind of friend.

What are the quality of  'bad friend'?
Bad qualities in friendships:-
Lying, stealing, flirting with your crush, boyfriend/girlfriend, wife/husband, gossip, taking advantage of you, dishonesty and mistrust, being inconsiderate of the other persons' feelings and emotions, selfishness, greed, desire for revenge, demanding perfect equality, betrayal, unreliable, controlling you, wants you to follow everything....and so on.

My best friend is a non-Christian, I chose her because she never wanted me to go according her way, she accepts who I am, she comforts, she cares, she is kind, she smokes, she drinks, she enjoys life, she practices yoga, sometimes she telling me off when I am becoming too ridiculous, but I love her as she is telling what she feels, what she sees...

Does this mean she is bad to me? No, I know who she is!

Does this mean I will follow her and get myself into smoking, practice yoga, and others? No, I know who I am.

It is ridiculous that someone come to you, especially those who 'care' of you, asking you not to join your good friend/friends you like to mingle with, and spend time together with.

If this happens to me, I am so fed-up with this kind of nonsense 'caring', bear in mind, if you haven't noticed about it, let me remind you, 'You are interfering my private life.'

Another story. If I have a dating partner, I would prefer to have more mutual friends than pulling him out from his circle of friends. Poor friend.

During courtship, the world contains not only just two of us, it is a journey to make a better path in order to walk together till the end of our life. If he can not mingle with my friends, or I force him to leave his circle of friends, how are we going to have a better life together?

Who am I to say that his friends are bad friends? I must be mad!

Oh God, guard my heart, I don't want to get myself into anger.

I don't care who they are as long as they care.

"A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you."

Renewing passport

On the Monday, the only morning student didn't turn up for lesson, there was nothing much I need to do, I thought it is better to get my passport renewal done.

At about 10am I drove to the branch at Subang Skyline airport, I saw many people lined up outside the department, and many parked vehicles along the road side, it was full house. And I thought I better go to Putra Jaya, there has smaller crowd and bigger premises at least...

After a phone called to Brian, he advised to go after lunch, reason is if I go at this time, I am only able to collect my passport after lunch, reasonable.

I went after lunch, but started my journey rather late, at about 1.30pm, I had Gab to go with me, someone to accompany and to chat with.

Putrajaya is a maze to me, I drove slowly trying to read traffic direction sign boards, I can't make my reading done before I drove past, if you know what I mean.....

I went to Department of Immigration at precinct 2, indeed it took me about one hour to get to this place, drove round and round, till Gab asked me 'Where are we going?' feeling a little impatient.

Finally found it after a few rounds of 'marry-go-round' in this concrete maze-city. It wasn't the one I went for Gab's passport renewal, more over the outdoor damper parking is fulled. I took many round and can't get a parking lot in a ample parking space. I quickly asked of my friend's help to get me the location of another branch.

Another branch located in precinct 14, by the time I reached there it was already at about 3pm, well........ too late, queue numbers closed an hour earlier. There were many people waiting inside the hall as well as at the corridor.

Tuesday was a holiday, off day for all government services.

I decided to go on early in the morning on Wednesday, so off  I go!

Reached Subang branch Department of Immigration at 7.05am, I saw a long queue in front of the glass door, and there were another short queue at another room stated 'KIPPAS', which this very reason made me walk straight to that short queue, asked a couple of the difference between these two.

It was a Kiosk machine, only for renewal of 'chipped passport'.

There is an A-4 size notice written as:
SILA PASTIKAN DOKUMEN BERIKUT DISEDIAKAN SEBELUM MEMBUAT PERMOHONAN DI KIOSK:

  1. BERUMUR 18 TAHUN KE ATAS.
  2. KAD PENGENALAN (ASAL & SALINAN).
  3. MEMPUNYAI PASSPOT YANG BERCHIP.
  4. SATU (1) KEPING GAMBAR TERBARU UKURAN PASSPORT.                               (LATAR BELAKANG BIRU - POLAROID TIDAK DETERIMA)
  5. WANG TUNAI YANG MENCUKUPI. (RM300 ATAU RM100)
  6. BORANG TIDAK DIPERLUKAN.

Before I can proceed to this Kiosk machine, I have to get my photo done, as soon as the main hall opens, it was 7:15am, I rushed to the photo-taking area, the person in-charge came early, thanked God for him, photo taken in just few minutes.

Then headed to the queue in the 'KIPPAS' department, about 5 people queued before me. There was an incident to the person in front of me, as the Kiosk machine couldn't read her IC, therefore she had to go to make it in a manual way ( down in my heart, I started praying that it will not happen to me, the queue in the main hall was very long.)

Thankfully, nothing happened. Slot in passport and IC, made the payment just like the parking ticket kiosk. Then take the receipt. There were two officers helping in the station, no chaotic.

I was then given a receipt, just have to notice on the last four digits of ‘NO KELOMPOK’ a long number in the last row, and wait at counter 13.

Wait for the officer to write down the number in a board, which means your passport is ready to be collected, but before our actual turn for collection, a queue number will be given to the same batch of people ( who hold the same last four digits).

The whole procedure of renewal of passport at 'KIPPAS' done at 9am, took about one and a half hour.

Doing government document in Electronic Government Document Management System is cool~

"Mom, will you pray for me?"

I heard Gab playing some musics from Youtube when I was taking my shower yesterday night, some kind of like rock music, I started to worry about the songs he chose to listen, my heart was troubled at that moment, as soon as finishing my shower, I tried to think of a better way to approach him.

I went to him:"Gab, what are you listening?" I looked at the video, it was a video clip about Sonic, then I told him in a soft voice: "Do you know, some of the songs are not suitable for children?"

He said:"Yes, I know, I listened to the lyrics, when I hear something bad words, I will close the page."

I am glad he listens to not only the music but the lyrics, I kissed him and encouraged him that he did well.
Later the night, he asked in a soft voice: "mom, if I have fear in me, will you pray for me?”

"Of course I will pray for you" I assured him that, "what is your problem?"

"I watched a scary zombie scene in Xbox game, I am very scare of those pictures..."

"Mm, I know, go for the wash-up, mommy will pray for you in the room" he went off for the wash-up"

Soon enough we went into our room, I kissed him and patted him.

"Ok, some of the games are not meant for children too (he nodded his head),
those are the things that devil creates to steal away our peace and joy in God, we have to be sensitive enough, and strong enough to say 'No'; they are not real, right? ( he nodded his head)"

Then I prayed for him.

Salt of the Earth in HI National Seminar

Such a memorable moment I have had.

Brothers and sisters came from different background, different denominations in His name, the unity He puts in everyone of us, just for one purpose, "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES, BAPTIZING THEM …"
Matthew 28:19

His last command... our first concern.

"But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus - the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love."
Acts 2o:24

Flower pot survivor

Posted by PicasaJust bought new plants from Ikea store, wasn't in good mood this morning actually,  but am alright now, looking at the plants, beginning!

Before get up home, I went collecting something...... something I dropped yesterday night, something accidentally fell down from my window, the baby pandan plant, thought of cleaning all the broken parts, and get the baby pandan another new 'home', but surprised to find out that the 'home' isn't broken, that was amazing...

Anyway... it didn't hurt someone as that area is for foliage!

My precious wok

An old wok given by my aunt, mom took it back for me, it was badly stained indeed, but as soon as I know it is 'Rena Ware', I took it any how.

Frankly speaking, I don't have the ability to buy even one set now adays, or I should say I won't spend this money, even though I know it is darn good in quality, it is just way too luxury to me.

So I wet the wok with garbage enzyme, and leave it for half an hour, I used dish washer (composed with enzyme) scrubbed by steel pot scrubber, never easy to get rid of those, took me hard work to clean them.

Though I read some of the tips to remove black burnt stained, but it is not applying in my case, as this is not inside the pan or pot, but outside, therefore.... still have to use the old ancient way.

Because is an old wok, therefore don't quite feel the 'pain' while scrubbing, happy instead, to see it getting cleaner and cleaner.

Still one side hasn't done yet, too tired, will do it another day.

Twelve useful household tips

Much time and money can be saved by using everyday household products to solve common household problems. Besides being cheap and effective, they are also much more environmentally friendly.

1. Stubborn stains on pots and pans

Stubborn stains on pots and pans are normal problems in most household which can be removed by boiling a cup of water together with two tablespoons of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar in the stained pots and pans for about twenty minutes.

2. Stubborn coffee stains in mugs

Stubborn coffee stains in mugs can be removed by placing the mug with some vinegar in it in the microwave for about a minute or two.

3. Cars with stained fabric upholstery can be unsightly. To remove them, one can just dab some shaving cream on it. Then, rub and wipe away the shaving cream with a clean, damp cloth.

4. Storing chillies in freezers immediately after purchasing them will make them last longer.

5. A limp-looking stick of celery does not look appetizing. Placing the celery in ice water together with a peeled and sliced raw potato for about thirty minutes will make it look fresh once again.

6. Price tags or stickers on items bought at the supermarket leaves a sticky stain if not removed properly. The stickers or price tags can be easily removed by applying some vinegar over it and wiping it away five minutes later. Putting them in the freezer for a while works just a well.

7. Blunt sewing needles can be sharpened just by stitching through sandpaper. This also applies to blunt scissors which can be sharpened by cutting through sandpaper.

8. Dull looking aluminium pots and pans can be brightened up just by boiling a few pieces of apple peels in them.

9. Many people are concerned about their dry lips. Try applying a warm teabag to cleaned lips for five minutes. This will help to retain the moisture in the lips, resulting in a smoother appearance.

10. Ever wondered whether the eggs you are using is really fresh? Worry no more. To test for freshness, just submerge the eggs one at a time in a big bowl of water. If the egg floats, that means it is stale. If it stands upright on its pointed end, it is not fresh either. The freshest eggs are those that lie flat at the bottom of the bowl of water.

11. To prevent tools from turning rusty in tool box, put in some mothballs or a piece of chalk.

12. Try removing stains made by ballpoint pens by using hairspray or milk.

Bookalicious

Popular book-fair has just started on Thursday, didn't manage to go, and facebook friends wrote in their status about the long queue and many gave up the purchasing; This afternoon, Gabriel went to the book fair with my mom, he called me and asked of my permission that he is going to buy two books, both are 'Wimpy kid' purple and yellow books, purple book is in hard cover costs about RM45.95, yellow book is at normal price RM29.90, these two books are definitely not in the book-fair discounted books, I have to delay his buying as I know there is a bookshop in Summit — Bookalicious is selling book lower than Usual price, well, it really took me awhile to convince him not to buy at that moment.

That very night, finally I went to the book fair, headed to this bookshop 'Bookalicious' right away.

As I walked into the shop, the first book I looked at it, was the 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' purple book 'The ugly truth', this is a new release; I checked on Border days before, and asked them if there is a soft cover (because cheaper), and found that it is only available in another two week time.

Here I took up the book, happy to see the 'cow sticker' on it, it is a 'GREAT BUY!' sticker, written on it "Usual: RM45.95, NOW: RM29.90" without hesitation, I took this book, and together with the yellow book, it is cheaper then any other bookshop, I got it at RM24.90.

As I made my payment, I asked the guy why they sell in such low price for a new release book? He said: 'Not sure! May be we can afford it~'

Well, I don't really care much lah, as long as I got it at the price which I am happy to pay for it.

I showed Gabriel these two books as long as I got home, and he couldn't wait to read them as soon as he got them, and I told him: 'Gab, I am happy that you are able to make a decision to just obey mommy and wait for my buying.' Of course he felt 'better' to hear my compliment, also felt good that we could save more money.

A happy ending of the day. Love~

I bought 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' hard cover (purple) at RM29.90, UP RM45.95 CHEAP! go Summit shopping mall Bookadicious near to ACE hardware shop.
