I was going through the recipe with audience before start in TrueMix office training hall.

Let's cheers! Toss for an abundance! 
Coconut Duet Jelly is a combination of coconut and sea coconut. Very easy recipe again, original recipe from




Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Coconut Duet Jelly


Ingredients A: 
2 tbsp Agar-agar powder
150g Castor Sugar
400g Water
600g Young Coconut Water
4 blades of pandan leave
200g Young coconut flesh, shredded


Ingredients B:
2 tbsp Agar-agar powder
50g Castor Sugar
400g Water
400g Young Coconut Water
200g Sea Coconut Syrup
200g Shredded Sea Coconut Flesh


Ingredients C:
2 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Lemon Juice

Preparation:

1) Reserve the Syrup from honey sea coconut, shred sea coconut flesh and young coconut flesh for later use. 

2) Bring Ingredients A except young coconut flesh to boil
      mc / 8 min / 100°C / speed 1

3) Discard pandan leaves, toss in coconut flesh, then pour mixture into prepared mould to half full.

4) Rinse TM bowl with water, place ingredient B except sea coconut flesh in TM bowl and bring to boil
      mc / 8 min / 100°C / speed 1

5) Lastly, stir in sea coconut flesh and ingredients C, mix well 
     3 sec / speed 2

6) Pour sea coconut mixture into the half-set young coconut mixture. (Or if you are doing it in party cup, spoon into each cups/ glass, pour coconut liquid into each cup / glass.)

7) Leave to cool and set completely then keep in the refrigerator.

美善品万能机食谱

Jane's 椰子燕菜双重奏



打印 Jane's 椰子燕菜双重奏 食谱
材料A: 
2 汤匙燕菜糕粉
150克 幼糖
400克 水
600克 幼椰子水
4 片班兰叶
200克幼椰子肉,切丝



材料B: 
2 汤匙燕菜糕粉
50克 幼糖
400克 水
400克 幼椰子水
200克海底椰糖浆
200克 海底椰肉,切丝

材料C:
2 汤匙 蜜糖
2 汤匙 柠檬汁

作法:
1)将海底椰罐里的糖浆与果肉分开,果肉切丝,待用。

2)除了 椰肉,将材料A放入,烹煮
      量杯 / 8 分钟 / 100°C / 速度 1

3)取出班兰叶子,加入果肉丝搅拌后倒入溶液并装满模的一半。

4)清洗主锅,放入材料B
     量杯 / 8 分钟 / 100°C / 速度 1

5)倒入海底椰肉和材料C,拌匀
     3 秒 / 速度2

6)将溶液慢慢倒入已经半硬的椰子燕菜层上,(若是用杯子的,就先把椰子放入杯子里,再将溶液倒入杯子里。

7)待冷却后再冷藏至燕菜完全凝固。

Simple Osmanthus Jelly

Beatiful Osmanathus Jelly Jars

Dried Osmanthus, can be obtained from Chinese Herbal Shop


Ingredients Needed

Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Simple Osmanthus Jelly recipe

Ingredients A
1 ltr Water 
150g Sugar
1 tbsp Agar agar powder 

Ingredients B
1 tbsp Dried Osmanthus flowers
20g Goji 

Preparation 
1) Boil A  
    mc / 7 min / 100℃ / speed 3

2) Add B to continue to boil  
    mc / 5 min / 100℃ / speed 1

3) Pour into small cups, let it cool about 40 minutes, (depends on size, larger size takes longer time) 

4) Take a small spoon to give a quick stir, if the time is right, Goji and osmanthus flower will be set wherever it is. 

5) Then keep refrigerated.

This is in step 4, while the jelly is half set. Use a small spoon to give it a stir, flowers and goji will just set wherever they stop. Very beautiful scene. I love watching them.

Black sesame creme Ji ma wu

Black Sesame Cream is most of our favourite dessert in old time, but it is quite hard to find someone selling, all we have now mostly from instant packet or some TongShui shop that they also prepare from instant mix. 




A customer of mine was very happy to get her TM5 unit, the moment she got hers, she made for her mom and herself this dessert and felt so proud of herself for making the right choice to invest a Thermomix.

Thermomix Recipe

TM5 Jane's Black Sesame Cream

Ingredients A

150g Roasted Black Sesame Seeds
100g Rice of your choice
600g water


Ingredients B

150g Molasses Sugar
40g roasted cashew nuts

Ingredients C

1000g water

Preparation:

1) Put ingredients A to cook
    mc / 12 min / 100°C / speed 2

2) Add B to blend
    mc / 1 min / speed 10

3) Add 1000g Water to bring to boil
    mc / 8 min / 100°C / speed 2

Orange Sorbet


This is the recipe you made during Thermomix Discovery Journey, now you have gotten your TM5, time to make this awesome desserts for your loved ones. 

Thermomix Recipe

Orange Sorbet 

Ingredients
80g Rock Sugar
3 Large oranges, peeled and seeds removed 
500g Ice cubes

Preparation:
1) Mill rock sugar,
    mc / Turbo / 2 seconds (You may need to do it two times)

2) Add oranges and ice cubes in TM bowl to blend
    mc / 1 min / speed 10

Olah! Enjoy your dessert

*Keep this in freezermate, to freeze it a night before your party. Take it out to defroze about 10 minutes, it will be as 'sandy' as before!

Jane's Cocoa Avocado Yoghurt Blend


Ingredients 
1 Avocado
150g Yoghurt
150g UHT Milk
20g Condensed Milk (optional though)
100g Ice Cubes
2 tbsp Cocoa powder (or chocolate powder to make Avochoc smoothie)

Preparation:

Blend all ingredients together

Durian Crepe Wraps Video Tutorials

TM5 Jane's Durian Crepe Wraps / Durian Cream Wraps Recipe

TM5 Jane's Durian Crepe Wraps

Durian Cream

400 gram Non Dairy Topping Cream, Chill
200 gram Durian Pulps

Ingredients A

2 Kampung Eggs, (or 1 Extra Large Egg)
30 g Sugar
40 g Butter, Softened

Ingredients B

1 tbsp Potato Starch
60 g Plain Flour
190 g Water
50 g Milk
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
1 Drop of Yellow Food Colouring

Preparation


1) Insert butterfly, add cream to whip
mc / 3 min / speed 4 -5
(alternately)
 *keep an eye to the texture, duration needed very much depends on the chilling level of the cream as well as different brands, sometimes shorter, sometimes takes longer time.

2) Add pulps to mix
      mc / 20 sec / speed 2 - 4

    *started it slow then increase speed.
    Transfer to a bowl, wrap with cling wrap.


For Crepes

1) Place A in a clean TM bowl to mix
     mc / 1 min / 37°C / speed 3


2) Add B to mix
     mc / 1 min / speed 1 - 3

Pan Fry Crepe

In a pan on low heat, pour batter from hights, shake the pan to spread batter evenly, as soon as the egg batter is set, flip over to pan, fry one minute, then remove. Continue to pan fry another piece.

Take a look at the egg crepe, rough side up, place a spoonful of durian cream on top, envelop wrap the cream, at last give a slight pressure to help cream spread to every corner of the wrap.

Jane's Moist Banana Cake Thermomix Recipe


Very moist Banana Cake.

This recipe is shared by my cousin Deborah, she had tried a few recipes and among those recipes, she likes this one the most. Hence I convert this recipe into Thermomix Recipe. Some have asked me about the species of banana to use, I heard the Pisang Emas is good, however this kampung bananas are quite hard to get especially when we get most of ingredients in shopping mall, and I got these bananas from Granny Doris fruits store & juice bar @ Jalan Klang Lama after a session of TM5 demo in the shop.

Original Recipe Rustic Banana Cake by Chris Wan

Thermomix TM5 Recipe   

Jane's Moist Banana Cake 

Ingredients A
180g Sugar
250g Salted Butter

5 pcs Eggs

Ingredients B
1/3 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla essence
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
250g Cake Flour
30g water (or Milk) 
350g Bananas, break into halves

Topping (Optional, I liked this idea, topped with banana slices, this enriched the cake and enhanced the taste of the cake. It adds natural sweetness to every bite.)
3 Bananas large, sliced.


Preparations:

1) Preheat oven at 180°C, lined a 9" square baking tin with baking sheet.

2) Mill sugar
    mc / Turbo / 2 seconds (2 times)

3) Add butter to cream
    mc / 1 min  / speed 3 - 5 
    *Add egg after 30 seconds, one by one.

4) Add B to mix
    mc / 40 sec / speed 8.5

5) Pour batter in baking pan, level surface with spatula, lay banana slices on top. (Optional: Add walnuts in this step if it is used.)

6) Bake for 45 min - 55 min or until skewer comes out clean. 

*The add of walnuts gives this cake another texture.

Align banana slices according to your own desire pattern.

I really love the idea placing banana slices on top of the cake.




Delicious treat for friend come over tea break snack! 


Banana slices give natural sweetness and extra texture to every bite.

Thermomix Dou Hua's recipe 美善品豆花食谱

Thermomix Dou Hua's recipe 美善品豆花食谱

Ingredients:
150g Dried Soy Bean (washed, soaked at least 6 hours)
600g water for blending
600g water for boiling

GDL mixture:
50g water
1 tsp GDL
1 tbsp Corn starch

Method:
1) *Secret Recipe to get rid of skin 
Drain away soaking water, add 500g water
20 sec / Reverse / Speed 5

2) Place TM bowl in sink, rinse gently under running water,
using a small sieve to scope out soy skin easily.

3) Put in simmering basket to pour away water.

4) Remember to dry 5 pins before return to TM house.

5) Add 600g water, to blend
1 min / speed 8 (do not blend too fine, easier to sift.)

6) Using a clean fabric sieve to strain the milk, 
squeeze slowly into Thermo Server

7) Washed TM bowl, with rinsed and clean fabric sieve, 
sift again in order to transfer soy milk back to TM bowl.

8) Add 600g water, cook
mc / 12 min / 100°C / speed 2

9) Using measuring cup (mc cup) add 50g water (half of mc cup)
mix together with 1 tsp GDL and 1 tbsp corn starch. Set aside

10) As soon as soya milk is ready, stir well GDL mixture and
pour into cleaned Thermo Server. Pour boiling soy milk into 
Thermo Server from height, cover and let it set for 25 minutes.

Serve with honey, or syrup.

Syrup:
100g Sugar / Melaka Sugar
50g Water
2 blades pandan leaves, a bundle.

Cook syrup ingredients for 7 min / 100°C / speed 2
