Thermomix Family

Just gotten TM5 on Monday right after morning training, very excited about this new machine!
I managed to submit a TM5 sales one this first day too. I was rather worried about committing 3 units of TM5 sales in 3 weeks time for a really special price, get 3 units in just three weeks sounds "insane" to me, haha, and I have no choice but to accept this challenge at the mean time, prayed for God's grace, because I understand it is not the matter of how well I do, is the matter of His plan in me.
Praise the Lord for His grace, I managed to submit one unit each in consecutive three days, so much released!
Here is the pic I took when I did my delivery for a good start!

Fried Udon Quick Lunch by Thermomix

Had a quick lunch settled with simple fried Udon really simple ingredients, dug out things I could find from fridge.
Simple fried udon: (to what I could find from fridge)

Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Simple Fried Udon 

Ingredients A:
One small packet of udon, rinsed with water.
1 tbsp Soy Suace
1 tbsp dark / thick sauce
1/2 tbsp Rice wine /shao xin wine
Dash black pepper
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp mushroom powder

Ingredients B:
10g Garlics, with skin, rinsed

Ingredients C:
10g Olive oil
Sufficient veggies: Carrot, sliced or julliened.
Sufficient broccoli florets

Ingredients D
5 slices Fish cake
5 pcs shrimps

Preparation:
1) mix A well in a bowl, set aside.

2) Put B, to chop
    mc / 5 sec / reverse / speed 5

3) Add C sauté
    mc / 3 min / V / R / speed 2

4) Add D then A to stir fried.
    mc / 3 min / V / R / Stir speed

Jane's Cranberry Shortbread Thermomix

Cranberry Shortbread on the way... Baking for SCF Children Ministry Kingdom Kidz Parent's Day Event this coming Sunday.
A gift pack for parents.
thermomix31 just took 25 second in total to mix the dough. Yuhoo

Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Cranberry Shortbread

Ingredients A:
350g All Purpose Flour
110g Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt

Ingredients B:
227g Chilled Butter, dice
75g Dried Cranberry, (pre-soaked with warm water, then squeezed dry)

Preparation:
1) Put A into TM bowl, mix well
    mc / 6 sec / speed 10

2) Add B to mix
    mc / 15 sec / speed 6

3) Take out dough, press flat with rolling pin, use heart shaped mold chop out shapes. Bake in preheated 180℃ oven for 16 minutes

Jane's Cranberry Shortbread蔓越梅酥饼

Ingredients 材料A:
350g All Purpose Flour普通面粉
110g Sugar糖
1/4 tsp Salt盐

Ingredients材料 B:
227g Chilled Butter, dice 冷牛油,切块
75g Dried Cranberry, (presoaked with warm water, then squeezed dry)
蔓越梅干,浸泡后,挤干待用。

Preparation做法:
1) Put A into TM bowl, mix well 放入A,拌匀
    mc / 6 sec / speed 10

2) Add B to mix 加入B, 搅拌
  mc / 15 sec / speed 6

3) Take out dough, press flat with rolling pin, use heart shaped mold chop out shapes. Bake in preheated 180℃ oven for 16 minutes, let them cool in cooling rack.
    取出面团,用滚棒推压,滚出1/3 寸厚,用心形压模整形。在预热180℃的烤炉烘焙16分钟。转移至铁网待凉。

Slices with knife and tearing with hands

I just gotten Hokkaido Bread recipe from Michelle, new met friend, now is becoming my Thermomix woring partner. She gave me her written recipe, asked me to try this recipe, yearns super soft bread.
Last night I tried making one small loaf, today, I made double portion, just couldn't have enough .

Take a look at the last picture, comparing these two one was sliced by knife the othe was tearing apart by hands, however the tearing gives a soft, fluffy feeling, nevertheless they both are from the same loaf. Haha, how much differences it gives by just it outlook.

Gui Ling Gao Thermomix Recipe

Gui Ling Gao is Chinese herbal jelly that usually serve with honey
Having it with sweetened longan is another option and variation.

Thermomix Recipe

Jane's GuiLing Herbal Jelly 

Ingredients:
A
3 packets of Gui Ling Gao powder
750g Water. (Each packet : 250g Water)
50g Sugar

B
1 can of longan

Preparation:
1) Put ingredient A into TM bowl, cook
mc / 7 min / 100℃ / speed 4

2) Pour into small cups, let cool for about 1 hour then scoop 2 longan and 2 spoonful of sweetened water into each cup  keep in fridge. Best serve cold.

You may add sugar and cook together, or add honey after the jelly is set, or Canned Longan would be another alternative!

Some of the time I cooked with dried Longan, it does make a lot of difference! Adventure it!
