Stoic Behaviour is unhealthy
There were times, we did not want anyone to know how we felt, especially when we grieve, and sad, we avoid tears and all appearances of grief, that is so wrong, this stoic behavior is not good, and not healthy.
There is a purpose in our pain. There is a lesson in every God's plan, we may not know and will not learn what we should if there is no pain, and no scatch.
While I am on the way to overcome the painful experience, God, open my eyes to see wonderful things from your law, and will wait for the good and look forward to the day when I will be able to share the life I have lived according to your will.

Making a right decision
The Problem
- We all do exactly what we decide to do; we are the sum of our decisions.
- Virtually all of our problems can be traced to a poor decision -- a decision made by a process that is barely understood.
The Priority/Moral Distinction
Decisions tend to be priority or moral decisions.- Priority decisions are choices made between right and right. The only imperative in making priority decisions is to be wise -- to choose between good, better, and best.
- Moral decisions are choices between right and wrong -- there is the morally correct choice and the morally wrong choice.
Biblical Decision-Making
- The first principle of effective decision-making: live by the word of God.
- The second principle of effective decision-making is not to put God to a test -- don't put yourself in a position that requires a miracle.
- The third principle of effective decision-making is always to worship God and serve Him only in your decisions.
Consequences
Every decision has spiritual and financial consequences.Paul addresses this reality in Romans 7:15 where he writes, “I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.”
1 John 5:13-21
In this passage from 1 John the person of sisterly “Wisdom” has been replaced by Jesus. “And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we may know him who is true…” (verse 20a).
The struggle with sin continues, but in Jesus we find God’s fullest expression of mercy and love, the one who confronts our sinfulness and defeats it for us so that we may rise above it and live as God’s people. Still we fall short of God’s intentions, but in Jesus Christ we find forgiveness and, more importantly, hope for the future.
Matthew 11:25-30
And here in Matthew we find words that offer hope. “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest” (verse 28). The “heavy burdens” we carry are our sins and the “rest” we receive in Jesus Christ is forgiveness. Thanks be to God for the opportunity to start over again and to live as forgiven people!
Jane's Note:
First of all we have to understand feeling or our mind (feeling controls mind) deceive most of the time, have you heard of "I'm out of my mind!", that's why, mind is not reliable.
When you are confused, when you are indulged, you often will make decision out of your mind, making a right decision best is to know what is the consequences, lay out the distinction upon priority and morality, lastly if God has to be in the picture (always will be ideal!), ask: What is God's will.
Remember even if you did make a wrong decision, don't hesitate to make an 'U-turn', God has forgiven all your sins. He is faithful to all His promises, and believe it, all things work for the good of those who loves Him.
With love,

Broga Sunrise Virgin Trip
Broga Trip: Lead by Gideon Lye, together we have me - Jane Lee, Ben Lim, Debbie Lee, Mun Wah, Jasmine Chee and Rafi the dog, not to forget our youngest hero Nathanael Lye.
We met up in USJ 20 Petronas Station at 4:50am, departed at 5am sharp, thanks to everyone's punctuality! Mun Wah, Debbie, Gideon, Nathanael were in Ben's car, Rafi the dog and I were in Jasmine's CRV, arrived to the palm plantation, the entrance of Broga hill after 40 minutes of driving.
It was an easy trail I would say, just about 45 minutes, many trekkers had started their journey up to the hill top. Along the trek, we met a lady fainted and was lying on the ground, we gave her group member some advise and tossed them some 100 plus drink, I think she hasn't got anything in her stomach yet, should I advise you here, please have something in your stomach before going for the trek. We also met someone along the way who were sitting on a rock, trying their best to grasp some air, breathing heavily, and re-charge their energy, m... I think trekking to Broga Hill is really a good exercise for city generation. It is always good to have this kind of outing often, we've spent too much time sitting....
Surprised again to see so many many many people already up on the hill top waiting while the sky is still dark! People every where, crowded along the trek, people scattered all over the hill, there are about 3 hills, we continued to trek up to the 2nd hill, get our spot, settle down for our breakfast. Going up at 5am may be early indeed, but we all like the time we could have a wonderful and ultimate fellowship, breeze brushes on our face, watching sky turning bright second by second..... wonderfully and beautifully.
The moment didn't last long, sky turned bright quickly, therefore treasure every moment
I had an amazing panaroma view for sunrise.

Love in a beautiful pain
Jane's note:
Our love is like a morning mist, like the early dew in a day, it will disappear. Our love in most of the time is a selfish act, just to fulfill our own desire or indeed temporary affection, it is an emotion, like we feel hungry, we feel thirsty, emotion is real, but won't last, so after a short period of 'enjoyment', 'happiness', the sorrows sooner or later will take its place, may be I am 'a bit' 'too' ( I don't know how to level it!) negative to this issue.
I have came across to this issue, a lady friend is in love, but the love is not acceptable by any form of human or God's law, so I call it 'love in pain', later on I thought through, it is actually not merely a love in pain, more closer to this relationship, I call it 'Love in a beautiful pain'.
Love in a beautiful pain, something I describe as:
This couple, they both love each other, they might not yet deeply in love, each time they see each other, their hearts burning, each time they meet each other, they know deeper in their spirit, they are in love. They have tried to control themselves not to show any affection, or not to release their emotion, till one day they confessed to each other, and their love is like a flood routing, yet they did not cross any line, and they know clearly they won't go any further, they will not have a good love ending, hence they both decided to cut off from that point.... (m... is it really like that... I have no idea)
But I know deep in their hearts, they have the pain, a pain that is beautiful and pure... 'Is this worth it?' She says he asked this question, then she answered: 'Yes, some love come beautifully and gone ugly, but this one comes beautifully and gone beautifully, though with pain, but it is something to remember for life.' How do you think about this statement? I loved her statement... beautifully........
Is this considered a good one? or a bad one?

Coward
as though I was one.
I run no way from commitment,
I hide no way from admittance.
I think and analyze,
As though I realized,
where I lost my mind,
for a bind.
where I lost my soul,
for a told.
I have no fear of knowing the truth,
Beauty I have to accept the shoe.
Blessed when I crying in the hue,
Cos I have Jesus as my refuge.
I am not a coward,
I always looking forward.
To my friend who care,
I wont hold my share.
I don't know where I will go,
Definitely not a worldly gold.
I am tired
I am tired of analysing...
I am tired of loving...
I am tired of giving...
I am tired of being possitive...
I am tired of seeking...
I am tired of searching...
I am tired of waiting...
I am tired of disappointment...
I am tired of rejection...
I am tired of pretending...
I am tired of trying...
I am tired of all the rubbish nonesense...
I am tired of smiling...
...
I am tired of hearing .... 'you are good'...
...
If you are - like me... those stated above, please ... come to HIM
Matt Redman - Once again lyrics
Jesus Christ,
I think upon Your sacrifice
You became nothing
Poured out to death
Many times,
I've wondered at your gift of life
I'm in that place once again
I'm in that place once again
And once again I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You,
Once again I pour out my life
Now You are
exhalted to the highest place
King of the Heavens,
where one day I'll bow
But for now,
I'll marvel at Your saving grace
I'm full of praise once again
Oh I'm full of praise once again
And once again I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You
Once again I pour out my life
Thank you for the cross
Thank you for the cross
Thank you for the cross,
my friend And once again
I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You
Once again I pour out my life

Happy 37th Birthday
Every masterpiece has it's own unique textures and tone.
A pastor preached once: "Every old folk is a masterpiece!", I have much agree with that, probably I am heading to the stage.... just past 37th birthday yesterday... kinda screaming when I looked at my birthday cake written: 'Happy 37th Birthday', I wrote it, I wanted it to be written like this.
Life isn't that easy, in a single mother hood, since 2001 the year Gab was born, till now, many ups and downs, worries, sorrows as well as happiness, time spent with Gab, I treasure every moment, and appreciate every experience, because I know they have helped molding today's ME, a me that I quite like to be.
A very quiet birthday celebration yesterday I had, with little 'darlingsss', dad, Alex and Marcia, I bought for myself a 'Blueberry Cheese Cake', this is all of our favourite.
Many of blessings sent to facebook's profile, MSN, sms and mails, thankful for all of them, that really make my day full, loving to receive them, appreciate every little tiny thing ( even just a click ) you all have done, thanks to all.

Self-Control is Not an Option

Healing Choices: Self-Control is Not an Optionby Rick Warren
"For the grace of God . . . teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives . . . " (Titus 2:11-13 NIV).
As we discussed yesterday, self-control is not optional for Christians. The race we are running is for eternity, and so we’re to develop a strict discipline (1 Corinthians 9:25).
Here are some other steps to help you gain self control as you make healing choices:
Talk back to your feelings Do you let your moods manipulate you? God doesn't want you to be controlled by your feelings. He wants you to master your moods. With Christ as the Master of your life, you can learn to master your feelings.
Talk back to them. Learn to challenge your emotions: "For the grace of God . . . teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives . . . " (Titus 2:11-13 NIV).
God's grace gives us the power to make the right choices--ones that lead to healing. God gives you the ability to say no to that feeling, to that desire, to that impulse.
Believe you can change The fruit of the Spirit--love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control--grow in your thought life. The seeds must be planted in your mind: The way you think determines the way you feel, and the way you feel determines the way you act.
God gave us the power to change our habits when he gave us the power to choose our thoughts. Does Romans 1:2 tell us to be transformed by working hard at it or by sheer willpower? "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2 NIV).
What are we to be transformed by--the renewing of the mind. When your self-control is being tested, you need to fill your mind with the promises of God. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it" (NIV).
That's a fact. If you are a Christian, you can't honestly say, "The temptation was too strong; I couldn't help myself." The Bible says God is faithful. If you're a Christian, he won't let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
He never asks you to bear something that is bigger than the strength he puts inside of you through his Holy Spirit.
Jane's Note:
Pastor Jacinta loves to forward some articles to whom she loves, I am that blessed to be one of those she loves, thankful for her love.
Somehow, this article has helped me or indeed has saved me from the valley, Jesus does it in a perfect way, and at the perfect time, I believe in His awesomeness and faithfulness. Thank You Lord.
The ''thread'' is being strengthened. Lord won't let me fall!
Beauty is ....
I read her status in her facebook profile, so ... I started to type a few of my understanding...
here I go...
Beauty is ...
- beauty is kind
- beauty is love
- beauty is appreciation
- beauty is freedom
- beauty is being pure in heart
- beauty is acceptance
- beauty is peace
- beauty is joy
- beauty is self confidence
- beauty is imperfect ( I liked this statement... don't you agree?)
- beauty has no limitation
- beauty not found in words...
- beauty ....
There are no definite, absolute answers for the conjecture about beauty, beauty is inside your world.
Beauty is in you!

What is my 'rock'?
If we see God, that will open up the treasure trove of all the blessings, not only for eternity, but also for life here and now. And the key to open that treasure trove is a pure heart! This is the most central and the most significant of all the beatitudes mentioned in this fifth chapter of Matthew.
You cannot be poor in spirit without having a pure heart.
You cannot mourn for the things that displease God without having a pure heart.
You cannot be meek, you cannot hunger and thirst for righteousness, you cannot be merciful, you cannot be a peacemaker or be prepared to stand persecution for the name of Christ without having a pure heart.
Actually, this is one of the most central principles of the Christian life that we see in the whole Bible. The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart.
Jane's Note:
Keeping a pure heart, is a lifelong lesson, temptation is just right before me, everything is a temptation, God's word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path (Ps 119:105).
Lord, open my eyes so that I may see wonderful things in your law (Ps 119:19)
God's word is my only strength, God's word is my only direction,
....
