Lovely Sibling that warmed my heart.

I met Jane Cheong the first time I went for Supplies Surprise Bazaar at Bfree, which later I found out they have it once in two months time.

I bought quite many things from her, as she is selling at very reasonable price. It is very warm of her, she explained clearly, and also share ideas generously, I love talking with her.

We came out for lunch twice in Kota Kemuning, went visiting her big country style home (I love her house, you know it!)

She brought me to Petaling Street to source some nice fabric shops to get some good deal sewing materials yesterday. In this trip, her two teenage child followed.

I want to talk more of this pair of sibling, elder brother and sister at two years age gap. We chatted many things, including of their Xin Hua secondary school which I also plan to send Gab to.

Along the journey, they followed without grumbling, even though there was once they asked permission to go book store but rejected. They made no naughty face. One thing I noticed and this warmed my heart so much, in the journey when one was walking fast with their mother, the other followed slowly after me, my left leg was hurt and so I have difficulty to walk really fast even though I have tried hard especially when we rushed back to our car to extend our parking ticket for longer shopping time, one will still walked behind me according to my pace. How lovely they are.

I messaged Jane Cheong about this, and she told me she didn't even notice it. I would like to give them an encouragement, I know they didn't pre-plan it, because according to their mother they fight most of the time.

Jane Cheong shared this prayer with me today in facebook. I read this before, and I decided to keep this in my blog.

General Douglas MacArthur's Prayer for his son ~with Jane Lee
"Build me a son, O Lord,
who will be strong enough to know when he is weak,
and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid;
one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat,
and humble and gentle in victory.
Build me a son
 whose wishes will not take the place of deeds;
 a son who will know Thee…… and that
 to know himself is the foundation stone of knowledge.
Lead him, I pray,
not in the path of ease and comfort,
but under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge.
Here, let him learn to stand up in the storm;
here let him learn compassion for those that fail.
Build me a son
 whose heart will be clear,
 whose goal will be high,
 a son who will master himself
 before he seeks to master other men;
 one who will reach into the future,
 yet never forget the past.
And after all these things are his,
 add, I pray, enough of a sense of humor,
 so that he may always be serious,
 yet never take himself too seriously.
Give him humility,
 so that he may always remember
 the simplicity of true greatness,
 the open mind of true wisdom
 and the meekness of true strength.
Then, I, his father will dare to
 whisper, "I have not lived in vain.'"

Reconcile friendship

Losing a friendship can be extremely difficult. Depending on the length of the friendship and the nature of what happened between the two of you, it can be a long time before you finally reconcile your disagreement. However, you both can move on past negativity and resentment. Follow these steps to speed up the reconciliation process and begin to heal the wounds caused by your disagreement. (How to Reconcile a Friendship by eHow Relationships & Family Editor)

Friendship starts with an acquaintance, then building relationship, it does not just happen, it takes time to know each other, to understand their habits, character, mind and insight, building up a good and strong relationship, is like a fine gold, it has to go through a few burnings before it is called 'fine gold'.

To build a friendship needs a lot of communication, misunderstanding happen when there is a break in the conversation, things can be settled when both party are willing to pour out then to forgive and forget.

I am blessed, to be able to have a friendship reconciled. Went for a movie yesterday with a friend after two months of 'icy period', I am thankful for her effort, and willing to forgive and forget.

And everyone has different definition of friendship, some like to classify as best friend, I am quite reserved for that, I found that I have difficulty to quote a 'best friend'... hmm... though I will still tell someone's name, but later when I think through, .... my best friend... hard.... because they are all my close friends, who is the best? they are all the best, they come into my life at different time, they are equally important for me during that period of time, and I treat them as who I am, I tell them all of me, and I tell them what I think of them ...sometimes did hurt them, this is what to be said: True Friend. Treasure every friendship, though sometime I may have some comments on them, well, I am not a perfect best friend to them either.

At last I found out who is my best friend.... my family, who know me best, and I know them best, who accept who I am, and I accept who they are, we quarrel, but we love each other, when I have problems I run to them the first, when I am sad, they are the first one to know, we don't do things together, but we have great time when we get together, I love my family, they are my best friends.

How to live quietly

"YES, he used to be my friend some years ago, but we had a misunderstanding and it has never been the same with us since. Indeed, now we seldom are together -- I have not seen him for months."

That is not an unusual remark to hear, and it is not at all an unusual happening. Most people seem to be ignorant of the fact that a misunderstanding which is allowed to remain between two people

Alexis Jazz Bistro with friends

Alexis -

You'll find stylish, warm, award-winning interiors as you walk into the premise. It is a Jazz bistro located in Great Eastern Mall - Ampang.

We've come for the Jazz Trio, impressed by the pianist Michael Veerapan's virtuosity, and the single Sylvia Howard, though I was not quite know-how-to appreciate her way of singing, I love the swing rhythms that played by Michael Veerapan's Trio rather.

We were there at 9:30 sharp, thanked God for the smooth traffic and everybody being punctured to the date. I was excited to be there as Grace told me it is a nice place, and they have good musician from around the world, cover charge is RM25, that is quite reasonable for a concert tickets.

We had Sarawak Curry, a set of sandwich, and two jugs of beer, that's all for the night.

Dawne was in Alexis, and she actually knew Alexis by reading my facebook status, she loved the place, hope we'll go together one day, yah!

The night filled with talkings, laughing, drinking and eating. Grace were there having dinner with her music school colleague, she was the one told me about tonight is played by Michael Veerapan, a famous pianist. She join in for a short moment of talk and fellowship, those pictures were taken by her, how sweet she is!

Debbie and Grace Visit

Both Debbie and Grace got acquainted with each other the first time, they were so 'clicked' to each other, I didn't plan for this gathering, Debbie came just to pass me a pair of jeans that she bought, as a CNY wear, she is kind and generous, she have offered me tones of things, but most of all is her love and care, I am thankful for her.
