Figs and Chrysanthemum Flower Tea


Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Figs and Chrysanthemum Flower Tea

Ingredients:

15g Dried Chrysanthemum
40g Dried Figs
2000g Water
120g Rock Sugar

Preparation:

1) Insert Simmering basket, pour in water, put in figs and Chrysanthemum flowers to boil.
Tilt mc / 14 min /  98℃ / speed 3.3

2) Remove simmering basket with spatula, let it tilt and drain on top of TM bowl, using a spoon to press and squeeze extra tea from flowers. Discharge the flowers and figs, add rock sugar to stir.
5 min / speed 1

Chysanthemum and Fig fruit tea



TM5 Thermomix recipe

Jane's Chrysanthemum and Fig Fruit Tea


Ingredients

15g Dried Chrysanthemum
40g Dried Figs
2000g Water
150g Rock Sugar


Preparation:

1) Put dried Chrysanthemum and figs in simmering basket to rinse with running water.

2) Put water in TM bowl, then fix in simmering basket together with the flowers and fruits, boil
No mc / 14 min / 100℃ / speed 4

3) Remove simmering basket with spatula, tilt rest over TM bowl, using a spoon to press and squeeze out the tea from flowers. Add rock sugar to stir.
3 min / soft spoon

4) Serve hot or cold.

Fish Deer

TM5 Thermomix Recipe

TM5 Jane's Fish Deer (pork dish) 

Ingredients A

150 g Pork Belly Strips
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Rice Wine
1 tsp Corn Starch

Ingredients B

10 g Oil
10 g Garlic
3 slices Ginger

Ingredients C

2 pieces Black Fungus, Julienned
1/4 piece Carrot, Julienned
1/2 piece Green Chili, Julienned
1 tbsp Chili Bean Sauce
2 tsp Sugar
1 tbsp Rice Wine
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Corn Starch, mixed with 1 tbsp Water

Garnish

1 stalk onion, Julienned, soaked in cold water
1 tsp Onion Oil


PREPARATION STEPS

1. Mix ingredients A well to marinate at least 15 minutes
2. Put in garlic and ginger slices to chop

5 sec / speed 6

Scrape down the ingredients
3. Add oil to saute

3 min / 120
°C/ speed 1
4. Add in A and first 3 ingredients of C, stir fry

5 min / 110
°C / counterclock image / soft image
5. Then add in next 4 ingredients of C, stir fry

3 min / 110
°C / counterclock image / soft image
6. Lastly, pour in corn starch mixture to thicken the sauce

1 min / 110
°C  / counterclock image / soft image

2 Frozen oranges
210g Milk
50g Sugar
4 ice cubes
210g Homemade Plain yoghurt
Pinch of Salt

Braised Spicy Ribs Noodle


For people who cooks in the office, this is an easy recipe to prepare for yourself and colleagues a yummy lunch.


Thermomix Recipe

Jane's Braised Spicy Ribs Noodles

TM5 recipe Ingredients A:
20g Garlic, chopped 
5 Thin ginger slices
30g Cooking Oil
1 tsp Sesame Oil

Ingredients Marinade B:(Marinade in the morning)
250g Ribs (one stick, chopped into 6 pieces)
2 tsp Shao Xing Wine
1 tsp Corn Flour
1/2 tsp sugar
Dash of pepper

Ingredients C: (Premix and keep in a container)
2 Dried Chili, rinsed (optional)
250g Water
1 tsp Homemade Chicken Stocks
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 tsp Dark Soy Sauce

Ingredients D:
250g Homemade Fresh Noodles
100g Veggie

Preparation:
1) Rinse and wipe dry the ribs. Marinade B half an hour earlier, or overnight. 

2) Chop garlic,
    mc / 5 sec / sp 5

3) Add remaining A to saute
    mc / 4 min / 120°C / Spoon

4) Add B, and C to braise
    mc / 10 min / 120°C / Reverse  / Spoon

*Advisable to use of 25 minutes to thickening sauce as well as better in taste.

5) Add noodles stir with chopsticks, place veggie over, then cook
    mc / 3 min / V R / Spoon

Marinate pork ribs to get better taste
